📍Horn Please, Berkeley St . Cheeky wee throwback to Sunday lunch @horn_please_glasgow with @laurenscravings. We had a voucher from @itison that got us 5 tapas dishes and bread for £14 - absolute bargain! . These were some of my favourite dishes: chicken tikka with cream, fenugreek & serrano ham, grilled duck breast in butter sauce and you can kind of see the potato and capsicum curry with puri bread in the bottom right corner 👌🏻 . We ordered the duck dish off the a la carte as an extra dish and it was well worth it. The deal is still running so go, go, go!

📍The Spanish Butcher, Miller Street . Oh man, I have been meaning to go to @spanishbutcher since it opened. I FINALLY made it down on Saturday and it was everything I hoped it would be and more! . We decided to go for the Galician Blond Chateau to share, which is priced per 100g and comes with two sauces and two sides. The difference with this beef is it comes from 12-14 year old Spanish cows meaning the meat has a slightly tougher texture than young Scottish beef but the flavour was UNREAL. Some of the best beef I have had. . I know this picture isn’t all that exciting, but sometimes it’s the simple things that bring the most joy - like a really fucking great steak! I can’t wait to go back and try the Presa Iberico de Bellota, and basically everything else on the menu!

Happy Humpday! While I spend my lunch break baking I can’t help thinking of the incredible cakes we had @cocoablackpeebles a few weeks ago after a night @cringletiehouse . The cafe and chocolate school is run by @ruthhinks - an award winning patisserie chef who taught @gcalombaris!!! Find out more in my Peebles travel guide which is live on the blog now. I mean, look how perfect this chocolate and raspberry delice is, LOOK at that mirror glaze!!!

AD| Time for a cheeky wee throwback to our getaway @cringletiehouse in Peebles last month. . I was extremely lucky to be asked to go and stay at the hotel in the Scottish Borders and Sam & I loved the way it felt like we had escaped to the country, when in reality we were an hour from Glasgow. More importantly, the food looked like THIS! This dessert was a blood orange millefeulle with blood orange sorbet and scented cream 🤤 And there’s more where that came from - there’s a full travel guide to Peebles on the blog now, link in bio! . Although this isn’t technically an ad, the hotel very kindly hosted our stay so I’m listing it as one in line with the new guidelines. I very rarely get opportunities like this, so this is one of the few times you’ll see the word AD on my posts, but I want to be honest and transparent. I can also tell you if I hadn’t enjoyed my stay, I would say so, but thankfully we had a great time! Find out more on the blog 🙌🏻

I have been meaning to post this picture since Friday but with being away in Northampton until late last night I totally forgot about it, so let’s talk about it now! . The amazing @dgfood92 is doing a pop up @broadcastglasgow until the 14th Feb and I HIGHLY recommend you get down there! This is the Cluck Cluck Burger: two deep fried chicken thighs tossed in honey mustard with spring onions, and chilli mayo. It is EPIC. I also highly recommend the chilli halloumi fries and the Tastes Like Taco Melt! Anyone want to go back with me this week?!?!

Crispy duck leg, pickled cabbage, daikon, puy lentils and kecap manis @five_march . This was another highlight for me - the duck skin was so wonderfully crisp and the meat inside so tender. SO GOOD. Have you been yet?

Happy Tuesday! And a massive hello to all my new followers, can’t believe 2,000 of you give a crap what I have to say 😂 . Now, lets talk food! Between Christmas and New Year I met up with my fellow foodies @feedingdeedee and @laurenscravings for dinner @five_march and this bowl of mussels was a massive highlight, served in a sauce of chilli jam, coconut and coriander 👌🏻

So we made an impromptu visit to @breadmeatsbread West End last night and I got to sample the Cheeky Tower burger currently on special and oh my, they are not messing around here! Buttermilk fried chicken, gooey cheese, hash browns and hot peri peri sauce. It is seriously a wonder to behold! It’s on until the end of January (which is only a few days away if you can believe it) - do not miss out!

📍Mozza, Renfield St . So I FINALLY made it to @madformozza on Saturday and it did not disappoint! Fast service, great topping options (although not many veggie choices) and all pizzas are £5 before 5pm - even on a Saturday! . This is the number 5: tomato & n’duja base, spicy salami, ricotta and basil. I ate the whole damn thing 😂 . Have you been to Mozza?
